Nearly 300 Runners Participate in First Annual Tapleyville 7 Mile Classic Road Race (April 2015)

It was a great day for a race and 284 runners showed up to run the seven mile course along the rail trail and nearby streets of Danvers. All in all 16 towns from around the North Shore were represented.

 

Proceeds of the race will be provided to the Boys & Girls Club of Salem and the Alzheimer's Association of America.

 

Erin Hickey-Reardon of Reading was the overall female winner finishing the race at 48:26. Dan Verrington of Bradford was the overall male winner with a time of 42:49.

Michael Pelletier of Salem and Ted Ridout of Wayland, both 72 years old, finished the race in a very speedy 1:05:50 and 1:06:43 respectively.
